SUBJECT: Visit by University Presidents, 23 March 1983
1. The DCI will be hosting another meeting for a small group of college
and university presidents on 23 March. Previous meetings have been relatively
successful in fostering good relations between this Agency and schools of im-
portance to our activities.
2. At this time, it is impossible to identify all of the invitees who
will be able to be present but it is likely the group will number about 10
to 12 with a good mix both regionally and between public and private schools.
3. A tentative schedule for the visit, including Agency participants,
is attached. The principal briefer may wish to bring others to assist in
the briefings or, in case of necessity, provide substitutes. The visitors
will be given SECRET. clearances for the day so that the briefings and
discussions can be candid and reasonably detailed. Biographic sketches of
the guests will be provided to each recipient of this memorandum prior to
23 March.
4. Notification of changes in the schedule, including any required
substitutions of participants, or questions regarding the visit should be
directed to the Coordinator for Academic Affairs
