Dear Mr. McMahon
The 544th Strategic Intelligence Wing is planning its
annual dining-in.for the month of October 1983.at the
Offutt AFB Officers' Club. On behalf of the men and
women of the wing, it is my pleasure to extend an
invitation to you to be our honored guest and guest
speaker for this.festive event.
As background information, the 544th Strategic Intelligence
Wing is the largest military intelligence production
organization in the Department of Defense and is the only
intelligence wing in the Air Force. The wing has a long
and distinguished tradition of support not only to SAC
and the Joint Strategic Target Planning Staff, but to
the defense and national intelligence communities as well.
On the 15th and 16th of February we had the pleasure of
hosting and showing wing functions to and STAT
others from your organization. It wou e our distinct
honor to show you what the young men and women of the
wing are doing and have you share your thoughts with them.
I am providing a copy of the wing Fact Book which describes
its current organization.
I have reserved the 8th and 15th of October at the Officers'
Club. I hope you-will find one of these dates acceptable.
The final dining-in date will be determined by your response
to this invitation. I look forward to hearing from you.
