MEMORANDUM FOR: Chairman, Camouflauge, Concealment and Deception Technical
Review Group
FROM: Director of Central Intelligence
Thanks for your response to my request for concise information about
what the group is doing, how well it is doing, and how it might do better.
I'd like to know what this group did from 1977 through 1981. I'd also like
your reaction to the recommendations for handling deception made by the
Bross Committee. Also, how does your work relate to the DDI work on deception
which is being headed up by I need to have your thoughts on
this promptly because I am consi ering putting all of this activity together
.under an NIO as recommended by the Bross Committee.
