SUBJECT: Intelligence Capabilities for Monitoring Arms Control
Confirming the request made in the meeting yesterday I would like
more specifics in the final tab in the book for tomorrow's NSC meeting
on intelligence capabilities to monitor arms control. It is only in
the last page that it gets at all specific. I don't need all that
palaver in the first four pages, but I would like the last nacre develnned
to specify what gaps we have had
how we have covered them,'and what we need to improve in the
future. This would specify the abilit to deal with fu
still meeting monitoring ca abilities

to be specific,.not only about our deficiencies but what our prospects are
for what we have to do something about them.
