A six-position, circular, antiaircraft artillery site was observed on 14 January at the nearly completed military camp of Calivigny on the southern part of the island of Grenada. Three of the six positions were occupied by weapons of an unidentified type and size, however, information suggests that the Cuban vessel La Baire made a delivery of probable ZU-23's in August 1982. Though unconfirmed, the occupied sites at Calivigny likely contain ZU-23's. Grenada, with Soviet and Cuban help, will continue to upgrade its military capabilities.
