SUBJECT: EXCOM Agenda Items - 18 November 1983 Meeting
REFERENCE: EXCOM 83-015, dated 9 November 1983
1. The Office of Security has reviewed the Directorate
of Intelligence External Analysis Study. In essence, we agree
with its findings and recommendations. We would caution,
however, that as the amount of work contracted out increases,
careful attention must be paid to providing the security
personnel and dollar resource cessary to protect the Agency's
industrial security equities .7
2. We also concur with the findings of the Emplaced Sensor
Study. We note that the Study addresses positive operational
activity rather than the audio cou easures activity in which
the Office of Security is engaged
