Connected therewith
OCS under pressure from user offices (incl. FMSAC & OSA)
for specifics on remotes, commo lines, security procedures
and file protection for on-line files in the
Computer Room. The trend is for customers to demand their
own small computers to interface with OCS Center and to do
their own local processing. Such local computers would in
time be upgraded and the proliferation of computer centers
which OCS had sought to avoid would then be compounded.
felt some expert talent should be put to work
on this problem as soon as possible, even if it meant
contracting for such talent.
