These files are the primary source of authoritative data in most dategories of events, especial*yo of prior years where manual files have been retired. AID/FMSAC worried at this time that increase in volume of this work will strain the capacity of OCS since at that time of 17 requests currently placed on OCS only five had been filled, while an additional 8 requests were submitted on 10 May Request made of OCS as to ways to ease the impact of FMSAC's workload on OCS. In some cases relegated significant programs into subelement categories which were inconsistent with the importance of the programs. DD/S&T notified ExDir 15 March 1966 that he intended to continue to develop and operate within the strucHEeture recommended for DD/S&T, although if necessary would re-assemble categories as required by D/PPB.
