Reference is made to your letter dated June 26,
1978, captioned as above.
You have previously been advised that the need
for such a computer system was minimal inasmuch as the
clearances within the FBI were small in number. Neverthe-
less, the FBI interposed no objection to such a future
computer system. Overall, it appears that this system
woou d be of great assistance to the entire Intelligence
Community and the FBI will do its part to achieve a
successful system.
