MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: EAA Tax Exemption
1. On 3 February nd I spoke with
25X1A Messrs concerning tax exemption

for the Employees Activities Association, Inc. We agreed that
the papers could be filed directly withi nd he in turn
could contact the District Director in Richmond. This would be
a 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization, and the exemption would cover
both the association and the corporation technically from the date
of incorporation but actually back to the inception of the association
itself. The corporation would be given an employer's identification
number which could be used for both Federal and State filing re-
quirements of various kinds. We agreed to submit a draft form
1024, which they agreed to process expeditiously.
2. I have called Mr. oncerning this matter
and am requesting from him wha ever In ormation is necessary to
complete the 1024.
