1. SIGNIFICANCE: A CSS-4 ICBM SILO IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION HERE.
(SWN)
2. REMARKS: THE SILO IS PARTIALLY OBSCURED BY CAMOUFLAGE NETTING,
WHICH IS SUSPENDED BY CABLES FROM THE ADJACENT VALLEY WALLS. A
SIMULATED ROAD PATTERN IS ON THE NETTING. NUMEROUS SUPPORT
BUILDINGS ARE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AREA, AND A CONSTRUCTION
SUPPORT CAMP IS NORTHEAST OF THE SILO. THE UPPER SILO CORING
IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE DIMENSIONS OF THE
THE SILO IS THE FOURTH ICBM SILO IDENTIFIED IN THE JINGXIAN
DEPLOYMENT AREA. THE LAST ICBM SILO OBSERVED UNDER
CONSTRUCTION HERE WAS JINGXIAN PROBABLE LAUNCH SITE 3
