2. REMARKS: AN SA-10 SAM FIRING UNIT IS IDENTIFIED AT
?ANTIPINSKOYE SAM FIRING RANGE. FOUR SA-10 LAUNCHERS, FOUR
CANISTER TRANSPORTERS WITH CANISTERS, TWO TRANSPORTABLE
ELECTRONICS TOWERS, ONE CLAM SHELL RADAR, AND ONE FLAP LID,
RADAR HAVE ARRIVED AT TRAINING SITE 5
THIS IS THE EASTERNMOST SIGHTING OF AN SA-10 UNIT AND THE FIRST
SIGHTING IN THE TRANSBAIKAL MILITARY DISTRICT. THE EASTERNMOST
OPERATIONAL SA-10 SITE IS AT NOVOSIBIPSK, APPROXIMATELY
1,000 NM WEST OF ANTIPINSKOYE. (SWN)
ANTIPINSKOYE SAM FIRING RANGE, 52 NM NORTH OF CHITA, IS AN AIR
DEFENSE TROOP TRAINING FACILITY USED TO TRAIN CREWS IN THE
HANDLING AND LAUNCHING OF SA-2, SA-3, AND PROBABLY SA-5
