SUBJECT: Headquarters Power Outage
1. In order to perform necessary electrical work
within the Headquarters Building, it will be necessary to
subject the northeast quadrant of the building to a partial
power outage. The service and area affected will be the
120/208 volt receptacles in the E, F, and H corridors. The
outage is scheduled from 1800 hours on Friday, 17 July until
2300 hours on Sunday, 19 July 1981. During this outage, no
receptacle power will be available, but lighting and elevators
will not be affected.
2. Coincident to that outage, other work will require
a short-time, partial power outage in both the northeast and
northwest quadrants affecting the E, F, G, H, J, and K corri-
dors. This outage is scheduled from 1400 hours to 1700 hours
on 18 July, when approximately half the lights, outlets, and
elevators in the affected areas will be out of service.
3. It is requested that personnel within your component
who plan to work in the building during this outage be
notified and encouraged to rearrange their schedules, if
possible.
