DETAILS: Please supply details to inform DDI briefers about:

This briefing, as you know, has been requested by the Subcommittee staff for staff and
members as an update on the current pol/mil situation in El Salvador. The briefing has
been scheduled for mond., Aug. 2 at 4pm in room 5-116, the Capitol. CIA has been
asked to brief the committee, alone. This briefing has been scheduled prior to the
subcommittee's scheduled 3 Aug. presidential certification hearing.
