MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: SFRC Briefing on the Military Situation in El Salvador
1. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC) was briefed by CIA
on Tuesday, 16 March 1982, at 3:30 p.m. on the current political, economic
and military situation in El Salvador. The room, S-116, The Capitol, was
swept and the briefing was monitored throughout. A transcript was taken,
and the briefing was at the Codeword level.
