MTH CONGRESS) WASHINGTON. D.C. 20510 December 3, 1982 The Honorable William J. Casey Director of Central Intelligence Central Intelligence Agency Washington, D.C. What's the attached letter all about? Why does the Central Intelligence Agency have to spend public money with an outside group to get views from my Committee on CIA programs. It seems to me that this is a waste of money. If CIA wants Committee views on something, why not,do it directly and cut out the middle man. This would save time as well as tax money. Look over the attached letter and let me know what you think on this. Approved For Release 2008/04/24: CIA-RDP84BOO148R000500980057-3
