SUBJECT : Agenda for Breakfast Meeting with Deputy Secretary
Carlucci, 25 June 1982
1. I understand that Secretary Weinberger will be unable to attend the
meeting tomorrow morning. I am not aware that anybody other than Mr. Carlucci
will attend from Defense.
2. The following items are on the agenda:

U.S. Latin-America relations. The SIG met this week to discuss the
draft State paper on the impact of the Falklands crisis on U.S.
relations with Latin American countries. Included is a copy of the
memorandum for the record from that meeting. The NSC will ultimately
be asked to review the work being prepared under the SIG auspices.
Meanwhile, the NIO for Latin America today held his monthly warning
meeting, which spent considerable time discussing the future of
Argentina as well as developments in Central America.
