1.= just informed me that you have agreed to appear before the HAC
Defense Subcommittee tomorrow morning. .,=1 -' t1#"e

2. I just talked to Admiral Inman, who has decided that there is no
need for him to participate. I agree with him that it does not seem necessary
to have both of you appear each time before these committees on this subject.
3. I have quickly pulled together the following materials for your possible
use tomorrow.
4. First, you have a copy of your statement from the HPSCI on 4 March,
which is a short introduction to the briefing. In case you wish 25X1
to use some of the formulations from your introduction today, I have included
a copy of your "wise people" opening statement.
5. I don't really think you need anything else. I already passed you
today as a backup book for the SSCI all the material from Dewey, 25X1
In case you have found it useful in the past, however, I have ZDA]
included a copy of the text which= uses for his presentation, which also 25X1
includes in the beginning an outline of the 0 Dewey, = presentation. 25X1
6. Finally, produced this afternoon some information on PLO 25X1
aid to Latin American revolutionaries. This was in response to something said
at this afternoon's session at State.
