B. reporting ranges from credible accounts that point to the use of specific agents to some that verge on the impossible. we know, 25X1 for example, that Soviet chemical warfare units are in Afghanistan, but these normally are attached to all Soviet Divisions. D. We believe it highly likely that there has been some use of lethal chemical agents in Afghanistan; the evidence, however, is still not conclusive.
