SUBJECT Processing Weekly Report
Tasks Accomplished
1. A meeting was held to brief users on the new release
4.0 for GIMS II. The new release will be brought up on STATINTL
GIMDEV on 4 June.
2. Weekend production testing for MVS/JES3 continues. A
30 hour test was made over the past weekend.
STATINTL 3. A software fix was a lied to correct a
pp problem in the
ASP production system. This involved a problem witYi HETRA RJE
print classification.
Tasks Planned
1. IBM will install eight megs of core on the 1.68-1 for
test and evaluation. This test will last two weeks on the
production VM system. Response will be analyzed for- improve-
ments. ~)
Problems
1. Problems with the 195 caused the system to x>e down
for ten hours on 30-31 May. The workload was shifted to the
168-2 which caused poor response to users.
2. The final segment of the SANCA quarterly update is in
trouble because of user. abends. It is now two months late.
