I. Mayor Activities During the Past Week:

TISIPS - Technical Service Interim Support Information
P:r cessing System. A set of enhancements has been completed
fo the TISIPS. These included modifications to the status
re ort, purging a portion of the data base, and t:he devel-
op ent of a special report of stock reference numbers.

AGMET - Spring wheat prediction system. We completed
de elopment of soil moisture maps for the AGMET system.

Als the development of maps to display precipitation
and maximum and minimum tem eratures for AGZONE data
has been completed.
F. Support to OCR
OCRDIR - Automation of the OCR directories. We have
com le eparation for the publication of
the for OCR. We have also begun the
pro ess of creating interface files which. will be used
as 'nput to the ETEC (Electronic Text Editing and
Com osing) system. We expect to complete the printing
pub icaton cycle by the end of June.
The publication of the will feature
our latest programming enhancements of the ETEC interface
sof ware. These enhancements include: a) automatic
pag make-up of the table of contents; b) automatic page
mak -up and numbering of the body of the directory;
c) ne-half point wrap-around of organization names; and
d) utomatic wrap-around for personality names.
G. (Support to OF
1. FRS - Financial Resource System. The FRS project
team will conduct a seminar on "You and FRS" on
28 June 1977. Applications project teams that
interface with FRS, along with. representatives
of GIMS Division, Production Division, and. DBMB/OF
will be invited.
2. GAS - General Accounting System. We met with
OF about the fiscal year end closing and completed
a draft of specifications.
H. (Training During the Past Week: STATINTL
1. A four-day course, Intermediate VM, was completed
by 17 students.
2. A one-day course, Interactive Systems Conce ts,
was completed by 21 students.
