SUBJECT Processing Weekly Report
Tasks Accomplished
1. RAMIS II has been installed on VM and will undergo
a 30 day test before becoming the production system. _
2. Load and stress tests of VM using 4 and 8 STATINTL
STATINTL of memory continue. Results are being analyzed.
3. Office of Communications engineers have completed the
installation of a patch panel for the COMTEN V in GC47.
4. Full center testing of MVS/JES3 continues. Although
the weekends are primary testing periods, some testing is
being conducted during the early morning hours other days.

1. PAYROLL-PAYCOMPUTE Biweekly cutoff - numerous problems -
power outage, disk drive, headcrash, fast dump restore utility,
and tape I/O errors required all night coverage by the Pro-
duction Specialist Thursday night. Program problems were
detected Friday morning which caused a re-run of the PAYCOMPUTE
application. The re-run was processed successfully Friday
night and reports were delivered to the office of Finance for
balancing on Saturday morning. Total impact was 17 hours over-
time for Production Division personnel and Saturday coverage by
OF personnel for balancing and OL personnel to process microfilm.

2. During this week the - Center had one scheduled
and two unscheduled power outages.
