Presidential Review Memorandum PRM/NSC-29 (U)
(U) ODP has received a request from the DDA staff to comment
on the present security classification system or any of the
specific points outlined in PRM/NSC-29. This PRM directs
that E011652 be replaced and, among other points, directs
that the declassification schedule be reduced from 30 years to
20 years.
Reply to Draft DCID (U) 25X1A
(C) ODP comments on a draft of DCID 1/16 (Computer Security
Policy for the Intelligence Community) and the companion Computer
Security Regulation were submitted to the Office of Security.
ODP disagrees with the addition of an "expanded compartmented
mode" of processing in this DCID. This mode would allow people
cleared for Secret to access a computer s stem containing Top
Secret and compartmented data.

EAG Key Issue #3 (U)
(U) A revised draft of the EAG Key Issue #3 report was submitted
to D/ODP. Key Issue #3 is the balance of centralized and decentral-
ized ADP facilities in the Agency.

ODP Travel and Training Funds Low (U/AIUO)
(U/AIUO) ODP travel and training funds for the remainder of
FY-77 are $4,000 and $13,000. Travel requests will continue to
be processed until the travel funds are within $2,000 of the
budgeted amount. Likewise training requests will continue to
be processed until the funds are within $5,000 of the budgeted
amount.
A case by case review of travel and training requests

Suggestion for Use of Computer Printouts (U) 25X1A
(C) The implementation of a suggestion to use unclassified
computer printouts as scrap paper has been halted by GDP and
the Office of Security. This suggestion, which was approved
by the Suggestion Awards Committee, is in conflict with security
regulation
Instruction on Release of Magnetic Storage Media (U)
(U) A new draft of the ODP instruction on Release of Magnetic
Storage Media Outside of CIA is being rewritten to incorporate
the comments and suggestions received from ADP Control Officers.
