SUBJECT Special Projects Staff Weekly Report-
Week ending 29 July 1977
A. The initial evaluation of the three Design
Competition proposals will be completed on 29 July 1.977. If
all proposals are determined to be responsive to the RFP,
questions will be prepared and submitted to Proposal. Offerors
to clarify discrepancies. Visits to offeror facilities with
proposed key personnel and the submission of Best and Final
Offers will precede the final selection, scheduled for the STATINTL
week of 5 September 1977.
B. Planning is centered around a reduced FY-79 budget
Messrs. are visiting the
contractor facility to review the status of the project.
A. The integration of the Vector General Display
with the PDP-11/34 was successfully completed 25 July 1977.
B. Critical Design Review is scheduled for 28 July
1977. This review will feature the Command Processor and the
Computational Subsystems.
STATINTL
C. There was fear that Project Manager
of the contractor development team, had suffered a heart
attack. Happily, test results showed this was not the case.
He returned to the office this week.

A. The initial evaluation of the ADSTAR proposals
was completed this week. STATINTL
B. Clarifications and notifications of deficiencies
in the proposals are being prepared for mailing to the
bidders.
