Approved For Rele'2001/08/ I 0933R0004&150035-6 Week of 30 July - 5 August 1977 1. Plans are being formulated for procurement and installation of an IBM 370/168 or equivalent processor in GC-47.? This measure is a temporary one, designed to alleviate the current response problems until a separate CAMS computer facility can be constructed. 2. We provided COMIREX with a schedule of reports development through March, 1978. This schedule reflects the addition of five (5) personnel to the reporting effort, bringing the total number of people dedicated to reports to nine (9). 3. We have received a configuration control item outlining requirements for short form menus. This is a high visibility item and will require a realignment of work in progress if we are to give it our immediate attention. It will be addressed at Thursday's Configuration Control Board meeting. 4. Software release 1.9 is currently scheduled for delivery Thursday evening, 4 August 1977. The delivery was delayed from Sunday, 31 July 1977 when additional time was needed to correct the DATE LAST SATISFIED fields which had been miscalculated by CAMS software. 5. We expect to have to undertake substantial reprocessing of accomplishments data. All data received from NPIC PRL transmissions was/is in error. Approximately 20 hours of computer time will be needed to effect correction. CAMS Project manager 0-1 AS f 4* 1 10 It t Approved For Release 2001/0/08 : CIA-RDP84-00933R000400150035-6
