Motivating Employees, Evaluation Performance, Interviewing,
Counseling, etc. In light of the limited availability of
spaces in OTR's formal management training courses, components

selected employees to see particular cassettes. A partial

Problems
1. Two more outages of JES3 were experienced during the
past week. Serious problems were averted though through
isolation of contaminated jobs.
2. A recurring space problem on a SANCA job and JES3
NETWORK problems caused SANCA daily work to be completed late
STATINTL on two occasions last week. SANCA daily jobs have been
converted to ASPSUBMIT until the NETWORK problem is corrected.
3. There has been a severe degradation of the Batch link
between JES and VM. The problem was traced to a Versitron clock
system. A similar problem was found on the HYDRA-CERBERUS
system and the 3770 in the Special Center. All problems have
been circumvented by using an external generator. OC is STATINTL
investigating the problem on a priority basis. _ ' STATINTL
