Support to DCI DCITASK - Automation of two tasks for the DCI. TASK I is scheduled to go operational next week. Train- ing, documentation and data base preparation have been completed. (Unclassified - B. Support to DDS&T STEPS - Science and technological evaluation and planning system. We have completed implementation of a subtasking capability in the STEPS system. Testing of this capability by the customer is complete and it. is being converted to production status. (.Unclassified - C. Support to DDA IPSLOG - Information Privacy Staff Log. The loading of conversion data into the off-line history data base continues without any problems. Two reports have been forwarded to the customer for review. (,Unclassified - D. Support to OC 1. STRES - Statistical Reporting System. We have completed a set of customer requested modifica- tions to the STRES system. These modifications are now operational in the production system. Updates to user and system documentation are currently being made. (Unclassified - 2. CIMS - Communications Inventory Management System. The GIM Review Board approved the preliminary design of the CIMS. The project proposal has been forwarded to the customer for approval. We have ustomer more corrections to the 1976 All corrections will be processed by 20 May 1977. (Unclassified - F. Support to OD&E ICODE - Inventory Control System. The set of enhance- ments, which included the capability to control serialized equipment and to monitor suspended requisitions, for the OD&E Inventory Control has been completed. (Unclassified - G. Support to OCR OCR/SAS - SAFE documentation support. The project proposal for providing computer software to assist the Systems Analysis Staff in controlling the detailed description and inter-relationships between unique resources and functions for the SAFE project has been forwarded to the customer for approval. (Unclassified - H. Support to ODP AD-STUDY - Project feasibility study performed by ODP. The first meeting of the Agency-wide Terminal Requirements STATINTL Working Group, chaired by , was held on 29 April 1977. The Group will define functional requirements during FY 78 to FY 83 period for an ODP user's soft-copy terminal. At the meeting the Chairman addressed Group plans, includin a schedule and Group responsibilities. (Unclassified - I. Support to OP PERSIGN - Integrated Personnel Information System. The remaining 10 cover data elements in the PERSIGN file have now been defined. (Unclassified - PERS-MAINT. A priority one request was received on 29 April for the running of the R412586 (Age-Grade reports). These reports had been tested and were approved by the customer but were not put into production, pending Approved For Release 2001/08/08 : CIA-RDP84-00933R000400150009-5 Approved For Relmse 2001/08/08 : CIA-RDP84-00933 R00M 0150009-5 completion of documentation and a PERSIGN walk-through. In. order to run the reports, the month-end PERSIGN I update had to be run and an extract produced. Hardware problems, scheduled JES3 testing, and data base report definition problems punctuated the entire weekend. The desired reports were completed at 0800 Monday morning. Based on the short notice, considerable overtime from Applications, and help from Operations Division, Data Access Center, and Report Distribution Branch were required to produce this report. (Unclassified - J. Support to OF GAS - General Accounting System. The six-month reports for the EAR (Encumbrance Activity Report) and General Ledger Zero Balance Report were produced. The six-month OOAR (Open Obligation Activity Report) is still being worked on. We completed 20 of the 28 items for the March/April maintenance period. The Office of Finance has agreed to defer the remainin ei ht items to the next period. (Unclassified - K. Support to OS SACS - Security Access Control System. At the request of the customer, we produced a tape to provide another set of SACS control cards for the recoding of SACS badges. Comparison of EENBAD and PERSIGN data bases through 8 A ril revealed no discrepancies. (Unclassified - L. Training During the Past Week: 1. A two-day course, OS Data Management, was completed by 15 students. 2. A three-day course, Data Set Utilities, was completed by 22 students. 3. Final evaluation memos for the recent TEC graduates were completed and forwarded.
