BE ^ ~ I ^ The miscellany of harriers that comprised the Berlin
I J` ' I Wall through February 1962, as shown in CIA/RR GM 621
(Confidential), has been further strengthened. Changes
are still being made, but mast are relatively minor in
character and affect the permanency rather than the
functioning of the wall. This map shows the types
of barriers along different segments of the Soviet
sector border as of about 6 April 1962. The photo-
graphs were taken at various dates through March 1962.
