C. 20505 Dear Admiral Raborn: Our Washington Chapter SAM announces the 7th Advanced Management Course to be presented from October to May of the oncoming 1966-67 Chapter Year. The instructor will again be Dr. Raymond Pelissier, who has very capably con- ducted the 5th and 6th courses. The Advanced Management Course is an unique, proven develop- ment program for your middle and upper level managers, generally at the GS-14, 15 and 16 levels. A list of firms that have enrolled managers in past courses is en- closed, along with names of recent graduates who may be called for their personal evaluation. Over 100 registrants have participated in the six courses presented to date. This course is an effective management growth experience with the built in advantages. of not requiring a partici- pant to be absent from his job or requiring substantial per diem and travel expense. The U. S. Navy Bureau of Ships and the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company have re- garded the AMC as a standard management skills program for several years.
