MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director for Support
SUBJECT : A Two- Year Training Program for
DDP Career Trainees (CTs)
1. As you know the DDP has requested a two-year formal
training program for CTs destined for the Clandestine Services.
I have studied the impact of such a program on OTR and have
concluded that it is relatively minimal except for the need,
beginning FY 68, to increase our budget to cover CT salaries
during their extended training period.
2. Attached is a memorandum to the DDCI for your signa-
ture recommending the implementation of subject program be-
ginning with the CT class of January 1966.
