Attached is a memorandum to Colonel White regarding
the processing of cases for the CIA Retirement and
Disability System.

Three of the Career Services have already processed
their fourth list referred to in paragraph 4 (Support,
Finance and Personnel). Security and Logistics have
processed a substantial portion of their fourth list.
The others anticipate no problems. I will check in
another month to see how each component is doing.
The number of cases still pending are substantially
less than was reported by the Office of Personnel as of
8 February and which was forwarded to the Executive
Director-Comptroller by you on the 15th of February.
This is due to the fact that your memorandum requesting
a status report of the Support Services caused those
that had large backlogs to process considerable numbers
of them in the last week.
