SUBJECT : Retirement Plan ~
1. I mentioned the subject I
to Mr. Bannerman and subsequently talked with Mr. Meloon. Mr.
Meloon feels that hould be advised of the increased
amount which he might earn by retiring in December 1966.
2. Will you please compute I annuity if he
retires at December 1966, at April 1967, and at December 1967. I
assume we will know soon whether the cost of living index justifies an
increased annuity in 1966. Will you then please talk with
to determine how he feels about the relative advantage of retiring at one
date or another. If he still wishes to defer retirement until December 1967,
please return the attached papers to us.
