I doubt that I need to hold the attached papers.
I note that a copy was sent to DD/S, and I have suggested to him that
he get together with you to discuss Joe Becker's recommendation in
paragraph 8 of his memorandum.
I shall be glad to participate further if I am
needed; but insofar as this particular problem is concerned, if you
and Bob agree that Joe's recommendation is a good idea, I see no
reason why you cannot go forward with it without a directive from me.
