The attached memorandum responds
to Colonel White's request for feedback on
the Interdirectorate *tinge. I got the
information in the memo from representa-
tives of each of the other Directorates and
from Jahn Richardson, who sat in on the
DD/I0 teat meeting where the DD/I briefing
was discussed and who also participated in
a meeting where Jack Smith &Mussed his
reaction to his own Directorate's briefing
as well as DD/S's.

1. This numoranadum is your information. It respond*
to your raps* for feedback on the Interdirecwrate Briefings
that have taloa place to date.
2. DD/I has new made its presentation to each of the other
Directorates and has, In turn, been "hosted" by *be DD/S. Thus,
each Directorate has been the "pest" at a briefing. Prom the
comateste we have teetered, inclaNag remarks made at each of
the Directorate staff mestinip, reactions to the briefings appear
to have bee* uniformly Utterable. The presentatimas have been
characterised SS very InSormative, buleful, and worthwhile."
3. In each case sane surprise has been registered
regarding the breadth of the "best" Directorate's activities, thus,
in effiet, validating the need farbriefinge at this sect to get key
officials better acquainted with tbe work of other campoosats.

at the chance to most their apposite numbers ha the lout"
Direeteanne, some of whom they had not seen before.

for which they were designed.

MEMORANDUM FOR: Executive Director-Comptroller
SUBJECT : Interdirectorate Briefings
1. This memorandum is for information only.
2. On 22 April 1966 we reported that the first four interdirectorate
briefings had been scheduled, three involving presentations by DD/I and
a fourth involving the DD/S presentation to DD/I.
3. Dates have now been arranged for five additional briefings, leaving
only three still to be scheduled. DD/S&T will brief DD/P on 2 June, DD/I
on 14 June, and DD/S on 21 June. DD/S&T, in turn, will be briefed by DD/P
7 June and by DD/S 16 June.
4. Remaining to be scheduled are the briefings between DD/S and DD/P
(tentatively slated for the latter part of June) and the briefing which DD/P is
to give DD/I. When these dates are set, they will be reported to you.
