It responds to your request for feedback on the Inter directorate Briefings that have taken place to date. 2. DD/I has now made its presentation to each of the other Directorates and has, in turn, been "hosted" by the DD/S. Thus, each Directorate has been the "guest" at a briefing. From the comments we have recieved, including remarks made at each of the Directorate staff meetings, reactions to the briefings appear to have been uni rmly favorable. The presentations have been characterized as very informative, useful, and worthwhile. " In each cas , some surprise has been registered regardin e bread of the "host" Directorate's activities, thus, in effect, v ting e need for briefings of this sort to get key officials better acquainted with the work of other components. And a number of members of each group have expressed pleasure at the chance to meet their opposite numbers in the "host" Directorate, some of whom they had not seen before. for which they were designed. 4.
