SUBJECT: Credit Union Decor
1. Last weeki (the interior designer for the
executive suite), I and I stopped in at the Credit Union.
2. It may be of some interest to you to know the
suggestions whichi proposed and which, it seems to me,
are useful.

a. Cover the part:..-ions directly in the rear
with some kind of vinyl wall covering, eliminating, if
possible, the ridge immediately at the top of the metal
partition.
b. Replace the clocks in the room with three
of contemporary design--one on the blue wall, one perhaps
above the door to the office on the right, and the third on
the widest of the black posts facing the customers.
c. Select three pictures of contemporary, perhaps
abstract, design in the large wall areas to the right as you
enter.
possibility of getting some pictures for the offices. I showed them
some black and white and some color photographs. Depending on the
selection, I could provide from my private collection some black and
white pictures without charge. I could obtain some enlargements from
some of my slides for the cost of the enlarging (this would run around
$8 for an 11 by 14 enlarged one). Of course, the framing would have
to be provided. I
4. I would estimate that the three contemporary paintings,
which would probably be limited edition prints, could be obtained on the
order of $50 to $100 apiece, the framing to be extra. The frames for

the pictures that I might provide would run in the order of $15
apiece commercially.
5. felt and I long have believed that the
Credit Union has been extremely well designed. However, I feel
these finishing touches would be very much in order.
