Proceeding from data obtained by the trace mctlKxl and
the method of plu)to-evolution on the Periodic structure
of detonation waves. we construct and compute a
thermo -gas -dynamic model of detonation. In doing so,
we attempt to clarify the elements of the detonation
mechanism. (Author)

SOLAR RADIO PHENOMENA AND THEIR PHYSICAL

Sept. 17, 1960.) September 1961. 10p. OTS price,
SO.50. (NASA TECHNICAL TRANSLATION F-72)
Centimeter bursts and type IV bursts are interpreted
as synchrotron radiation. Type III and type H bursts
are probably due to excitation of oscillations of the
coronal plasma by high energy particles. The
particles 11121 create type 11 are probably trapped in a
magneto-dynami(t wave. Radio storms are similarly
due to particles ejected during an eruption and
rernaining: trapped for several days in the magnetic
config,utations near the sun.
