1. (U) This memorandum is for information only.
2. (U) The activities of the Office of Security during
the week of 15 - 21 June 1I7R were highlighted by the
following items:
* a. (C) During the week, more problems
surfaced with respect to vendor acceptance
of the Industrial Contractor Polygraph Program.
25X1 has requested a stand-down on
polygraphing pending a program review by its
25X1 attorneys. I is in consulta-
tion with the CIA/OGC and the decision to
initiate the program has been deferred to
the Chairman of the Board.

b. (C) On 16 June, based upon observations
and analysis, a representative of this Office
concluded that day and night driving sessions
of the Counter Terrorist Tactics Course were
in full compliance with individual and program
safety requirements.

response to a Department of Labor recommendation.)

Assistant Administrator for Engineering and. Development,
Department of Transportation, was given a denied-area.

where he will head. a delegation of Air Traffic Controllers.

e. (U) Slice 9 June,. this Office has received
six new requests from the House Select Committee on
Assassinations requiring access to files and references
on 47 individuals and copies of any photographs on 57
individuals.
3. (U) Projected Office of Security activity of possible
interest at the Directorate level includes:
The Office of Security is coordinating security
arrangements with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
in support of the Director's anticipated trip to Owensboro,
Xentucky, on 22 June, to attend the American Academy of
_Achievement Golden Plate Awards. Other dignitaries
expected to attend_ this function include the Director
of the FBI, Attorney General, Judge Sirica, and other
famous personalities including authors, sports figures
and entertainers.

NOTE: Attached in the form of a separate memorandum prepared
by our Physical, Technical and Overseas Security Directorate
is a status report on the implementation of those industrial
security recommendations requiring Office of Security action.
