1. This memorandum is for information only.
2. The activities of the office of Security during
the week of 6 May - 12 May 1977 were highlighted by the
following items:
a. On 6 May 1977 Office of Security representatives

problem area, and promised to pay special attention to
the route used by NPIC secretaries from their building
to the parking lot during the critical hours, 1500 to 1800
hours, Monday through Friday.
b. On 10 May Mr. Thomas Farmer and former Senator
Albert Gore, newly appointed Chairman and Member, respectively,
on three

c. On 11 May an Office representative met with
Messrs. Gitenstoin and Bushong, staff members of the
Security Subcommittee, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence,
for discussion and review of leak data base file and the
processes used in the investigation of unauthorized
disclosures. Subsequent meetings are being arranged.

d. New directional antennaefor the DCI-/DDCI
Residential Alarm System5were received. The first unit
was positioned at the DCI residence on 11 May. The second
unit will be positioned at the DDCI residence on 13 May
1977.
f. In coordination with the Fairfax Police
Department, the American Automobile Association and the
Doron Precision Systems, Inc., this Office presented
on 12 May a series of demonstrations and exhibits in
support of Defensive Driving Week. This presentation
will also be given on 13 May.
