SUBJECT: Nomination of Candidates to be
Recommended for the National Capital Award
REFERENCE: Memo for DD's from D/Pers, dtd 18 Dec 57
1. No candidates for National Capital Award were nominated by
the Deputy Directors.
2. I checked with DD /I today - stated that
referenced memo was referre to OSI u was ec ded that they
would not recommend any candidates this year. They felt that the
nature of work being done in OSI by scientists would probably not
qualify them for the award.
3. I checked with DD/P He stated they had no
candidates.
14-. DDS - Colonel White indicated on letter of notification
of subject award program that no candidates would be nominated from
DD/S.
5. I reported this information to who advised
Mr. Stewart.
