In connection with the nation wide observance of Engineers' Week, the D. C. Council of Engineering and Architectural Societies and the Washington Academy of Sciences propose to honor three young professional men, an architect, an applied scientist, and an engineer, on Thursday, 25 February 1960. The Chairman of the Professional Awards Committee has invited the Agency, by letter dated November 9, 1959, to nominate a staff member from the Agency for special recog- nition during Engineers' Week. STATINTL 2. The Office of Logistic's nominee for recognition as outlined above is Architect, of our Building Planning Staff. The specific achievement which is the basis for nom- ination is the scheme he devised for templating Agency space layouts for the new headquarters building.
