SUBJECT: Special Staff
1. Effective this-dates there is established in the Office
of the Assistant birector~ Office of Reports and Estimates, a
Special Staff for the purpose of advising the AD/ORE on all
matters of intelligence production-connected with the emergency
arising from the situation in Korea.
2. The Special Staff is charged with responsibility for prey
parir~ reports and estimates bearing on the present crisis. In
fulfillment of this responsibilityf the Special Staff will call
upon all producing components of ORE for such information, draft
reports oral briefing, etc., as may be required.
3. The fo7,~l~p~r~g personnel are assigned to the Special Staff:
1~. The above??named personnel are hereby relieved from all
duties with their present divisions.
