OGI officials met with the PFIAB staff to discuss Agency work on international finance and related matters. National Intelligence Council - C/NIC attended a CNO Executive Panel session on possible Soviet responses to the U.S. Navy's ability to attack SSBNs. - NIO/SP along with C/NIC received a SAC briefing from Gen. Fornell on 4 November on the Air Force's recommendations to Secretary Weinberger on the basing of the MX missile. (The DCI will receive the same briefing on 17 November.) - NIO/USSR attended a meeting at State Department on Yugoslavia. The Department's concern about situation there parallels our own and they are going to call an IG meeting to develop policy to help Yugoslavia in its present strains.
