Fitzwater Deputy Director for Administration SUBJECT: Weekly Report for Period Ending 14 May 1982 1. Progress reports on tasks assigned by DCI/DDCI: Unanticipated delays have been encountered by the Office of Security in its investigation of the apparent loss of classified documents to DIA; a second report will be forwarded in the near future with the final report to be submitted on or about 11 June. (U/AIUO) 2. Items/events of major interest: c. The Director and Deputy Director, Office of Data Processing briefed Mr. J. David Schenken, senior ADP official for the Secret Service, on 10 May regarding the TACK Computer Graphics System, developed primarily for CAMS, which may be of use to the Secret Service. (U) e. The Archivist of the United States approved. Part II of the OSS Records Control Schedule on 28 April. This was. the final element in establishing disposition instructions for the Agency's predecessor records. A briefcase/package inspection was conducted by the Office of Security at the Chamber of Commerce Building on 10 May, resulting in the detection of one incident of an apparent unauthorized removal of classified material.- The incident is currently under review for possible disciplinary action. (U) g. On 13 May, the Director of Security addressed the Conference of Int mmunity Public Affairs Officers (C)i T 1r-1J/X I h. Representatives from the Office of Security presented a Hostile Audio Threat briefing to the National Security Agency.Cryptologic Course on 6 May. (U) i. The Senior Officer Development Course (SODC) spent last week in Pittsburgh visiting with senior officials of ALCOA, U.S. Steel, Westinghouse, and Gulf Oil as well as with the Chancellor and senior administrative officials of the University of Pittsburgh. The major focus was on corporate decisionmaking and executive development with at international economic situation. 25X1 25X1 25X1 The Supervision of Analysis Course is running for the first time this week The course is designed to meet the requirements of new branch chiefs25X1 within e Directorate of Intelligence. 25X1 k.
