97th Congress of the United States to commemorate
the One Hundredth Anniversary of the birth of
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, on Thursday, January
28, 1982 at 11:00 AM.
Speakers at the event will include the Honorable
Averell Harriman, Senator Jennings Randolph,
Representative Claude Pepper, the Honorable James
Roosevelt; and Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., historian.
Leontyne Price, the opera star, will also perform.
You are requested to present yourself at 10:30 AM
in the Speaker's Office, H 204 The Capitol, so that
seating can be concluded in the Great Hall of the
House before the set time.
