SUBJECT: Transfer of Safety Group, Office of Security, to
Office of the Deputy Director for Administration
1. In accordance with Recommendation Number 22. of the Inspector
General's Report on the Office of Security which was approved by the Deputy
Director of Central Intelligence, I am transferring the Safety Group from
the Office of Security to the Office of the Deputy Director for
Administration reporting directly to the Associate Deputy Director for
Administration.
2. In order to more fully implement the safety program as suggested
in the IG report, I also intend to include in the FY-84 budget a request
for additional resources in accordance with the attachment.
