As a follow-on to ou.r conversations, I ha e had revised talking points
prepared for your discussions with Senat~iPercy (Att 1). Those talking
.points can be used v>eAbatim if you desk e. My staff has also pulled together
the raw intelligence information (Aft 2) which supports some of the judgments
made in the talking points; it h8 ~ not been possible to do this in all cases
since some f the judgments ,a analytical and not derived from single
documen",,o'That raw intelligence is for you and your staff only; it can be
alluded to orally in discussions with Senator Percy but, in keeping with long-
standing procedures established to protect our sources and methods, should not
be made available.to him. If there is any other assistance I can provide on
this matter, please let me know.
