- Page 6, Section e. COMPENSATION represents
a compromise on my part to repeated requests
from the General Counsel for a lessening of
restrictions on pre-paid invitations from
private legal, accounting or other groups.
- The Deputies did not support the GC request
to change the regulation. They agreed with
my Position that such requests, beneficial
to the Agency, would be very few and could
be handled on an ad hoc approval basis as
an exception.
My compromise relates to allowing tax exempt
organizational pre-payment, thus minimizing/
eliminating perception of conflict.
