1. The following items have been proposed by Secretary Weinberger's
office for tomorrow's breakfast meeting.

(4) As I suggested in my note last night, I believe Weinberger
and Carlucci would appreciate a debrief from the DDCI on the HPSCI
Hearing on the NFIP. I have asked to provide the DDCI 25X1
today any material from that hearing that would be useful for such a
discussion. I believe that what would be most interesting would be
any of the byplay and reactions from the Committee Members. I heard
from one of Stilwell's people yesterday that it is a perception in
OSD that it was a pretty rough session.
(5) You may wish to mention to Weinberger and Carlucci where we
stand on accommodating Defense's concerns on the Executive Order on
classification. I Isent you a memorandum proposing compromise25X1
language and a proposed memorandum from the DCI to Carlucci informing
him of this. I do not know what your reaction is to 0 proposal, 25X1
but it probably would be productive to bounce the idea off of Weinberger
and Carlucci.
