SUBJECT: Advisory Panel Meeting with DCI
1. This memorandum introduces the members selected for the DCI EEO
Advisory Panel for the two-year term of service beginning on 19 September 1981
and confirms the Panel's meeting with you on Tuesday, 9 March 1982, at 1400
hours in the DCI conference room, 7D64.
2. The DCI formally inaugurated the Advisory Panel on 26 March 1975.
It was given the mandate to advise the DCI. and the Director, OEEO on matters
related to Agency EEO policy, evaluate EEO programs, and identify EEO problems
and concerns.
3. To fulfill its mandate, the Panel has sought to select members with
a wide range of Agency skills and experience. The current Panel members,
for example, range in age from 28 to 52 years and in grade from GS-08 to
GS-14. Each Directorate is represented by at least two Panel members. The
names and a brief biography of the current Panel members are provided on the
attachment.
4. The Panel looks forward to meeting with you and to making an effective
contribution to Agency EEO policy and goals.
